Hey, it's your old pal Jim. Just got out of the Los Angeles Asylum Office.
We were there from 7:30 this morning until 4:00 in the afternoon. It was a very long day.
The officer spent a very long, long time with our client.
This was actually our second interview. We'll see how it goes. I'm not sure, but our client did great. We did well.
My man Marwan is over there. He's filming. He's never seen the Pacific Ocean before, so I promised him we were going to see the ocean.
Last night it was raining, so we decided to go today.
We thought we'd be done around lunchtime, but we weren't done until 4:00. So we raced over to see the Pacific Ocean.
Look how beautiful it is here. There are all these awesome houses. Let me see. All these awesome houses right on the ocean.
Marwan can't believe it. He can't stop filming.
I think he's sending all of his pictures back to Iraq to show everybody, but it's pretty stunning here.
Pretty exciting. We're going to take the kids here soon for spring break, but man, oh man is it gorgeous.
I said, "Marwan, can you see why I want to open an office in San Diego?" And he said, "Yep." It's just gorgeous.
So we're heading back to St, Louis tomorrow, we'll see you all then.
But until then, practicing immigration law in California seems a little bit nicer than practicing immigration law back in Missouri. But no reason we can't do both.
We love our Missouri cases, but it sure is hard to beat the ocean.
Peace out, everybody.
