I am a member of the local chapter of AILA, the American Immigration Lawyers Association and I am on the board of MIRA, Missouri Immigrant and Refugee Advocates. I also serve as Legal Counsel for the local chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations, CAIR. Last Saturday, Adela and I volunteered a few hours at the annual citizenship day program put on by AILA, CAIR and MIRA. The Suburban Journal had a nice write-up about it here.
