The Art of Saying Nothing

Spread the love

Who has perfected the art of saying nothing? Hi, I'm Jim Hacking, immigration lawyer, practicing law throughout the United States out of my throne here, my Game of Thrones throne. I'm actually at the office and I'm shooting this video for you. We had a little surprise party for me today. I turned 50 last week, and I was home sick. And now I'm here in the office and I'm making this video just for you.

My wife spent an hour on the phone, on hold with her paralegal, Susanna, and they were trying to get an answer to a very simple question. We had a client who had been assigned for an interview at a certain field office, and he had since moved. He needed to move that appointment, and he is trying to figure out how to move it. Susanna called the 1-800 number, and Monte hopped on the phone. And you would not believe the rigmarole, the BS that the officer on the phone put Amany and Susanna through. They had to answer multiple multiple questions just to find out absolutely nothing.

The 1-800 number's a joke. Nothing really happens. It's absolutely ridiculous the way that they are not even handling these things. There's no way to get any answers, no way to get any movement on a case. It's really ridiculous.

And the sad, sad thing is that it's all by design. USCS is not there to answer your questions. They're not there to help you out. They're there just to cause trouble and to make your life miserable.

So, I guess you have to try the 1-800 number when you can, but you shouldn't expect to get much relief out of it. Nothing good is going to happen from it.

Your questions about the 1-800 number, or how you can try to get answers, you can give us a call at (314) 961-8200. You can email us at info@hacking law practice.com. Be sure to join us in our Facebook group, which is called Immigrant Home. And if you liked this video, we asked you to please share it out on social, so you get updates whenever we make videos just like this one.

Thanks a lot. Have a good day.
