St. Louis Immigration Attorneys Educate Local International Students at SIUE

We recently visited Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville to meet with international students. We presented on a number of important immigration topics including:

Why it is important to maintain student status
How optional practical training can help form a bridge between F1 student status and an H1B employment visa
What international students need to know when meeting with law enforcement
The complexities of work based green cards

The presentation was well received and was followed by a series of insightful questions by students from around the world. The international student department at SIU-E is world class because of people like Geet Vanaik and Sandra Tamari who care deeply about the students' well-being.
