We want lots and lots and lots of evidence. Hi, I'm Jim Hacking, Immigration Lawyer practicing law throughout the United States at our offices in St. Louis, San Diego and Washington DC. We don't want a little bit of evidence. We don't want a few documents. We don't want a picture or two. We don't want you to give us the bare minimum. Here's a bank statement or two. We want lots of evidence, lots and lots and lots of evidence. And when I say we, I mean the immigration service, but I also mean Hacking Immigration Law. We want to send in a stellar packet.
One of the things that I'm really proud about is that we've developed a reputation at least here in St. Louis of putting together our cases properly and of really documenting the strength and the devotion of our cases. We want to make sure that the officers are overwhelmed with evidence, that there can be no doubt that this is a valid marriage. You know, it's absolutely impossible to prove a marriage just through documents. But that doesn't mean that you still should not do everything you can to give them lots and lots and lots of evidence.
Now, if you want to get a copy of our marital evidence list, I'm happy to send it to you. We're going to create a landing page for that. We haven't yet. Or you can just leave us a comment down below and we will leave that for you.
So once you have that list and we've done everything we can to be as creative as possible to create that list so that you have what you need to gather, you have a list of all the kinds of things that you can gather, things that you probably haven't thought about like Amazon purchases that come to the house, or Netflix subscriptions, or we really try to use technology and the documentation of life in the 21st century to show what we need to show that this is a valid marriage.
So we don't want to give them just a little bit. We want to overwhelm them with stuff. So we're going to send in the forms themselves. And then we're going to send in properly organized and categorize evidence because this thing that we see sometimes from immigrants where they say, "Yeah, we just don't really have a lot. Yeah, sorry about that," yeah, that's not going to fly, not going to fly with us, not going to fly with immigration. You have to remember, they want to deny your case. They want to deny your case. Can I deny this case? I'm sure as hell going to try. So we have to beat that back. We have to literally push back with documents, with evidence, with lots of it.
