As an immigration attorney in St. Louis, Missouri, I have the opportunity to spend time with immigrants from all over the world. Almost without exception, each immigrant that I have encountered is hard-working and dedicated to making a good life for themselves in this country.
Republicans and right-wingers like to paint immigrants as lazy, shiftless and "stealing" from America. I have yet to come across any of these lazy immigrants.
