Woman Sentenced in Immigration Fraud Scandal

Spread the love

Do you know who is helping you with your immigration case?

I mean, do you really know?

Earlier this week a woman named Eblin Balver was sentenced to seven years in prison for a scheme that had been going on for years.

She claimed to work for the court system and that she could help people file immigration petitions, visas or buy foreclosed homes.

But she didn't and she couldn't.

She tricked people into giving her money to file for an immigration benefit they needed and she never did.

She would give them lame excuses when they got frustrated they were waiting for so long.

And when they finally realized something wasn't right, she told them she had connections to the mafia to scare them into silence.

Overall, she stole about $360,000 from immigrants who trusted her.

So this brings up my question.

How well do you know your immigration lawyer?

Finding someone to help with your immigration case is very important and should not be taken lightly.

Always do your research, find out what other people are saying about them.

Look at Google reviews, Facebook reviews, anything that shows what other people think.

And make sure they have your best interest at heart.

Immigration is a hard game to play, you need someone who will really fight for you.

Don't trust just anyone with your future.
