A Friday afternoon message from your friend Jim

Spread the love

Hey, it's your old pal, Jim Hacking, immigration lawyer, practicing law throughout the United States at our offices in St. Louis, Washington, DC, and today I am in San Diego. I'm under the pier near Mission Beach and I wanted to shoot this short video to let you know that if you're struggling, if you're having a hard time, if you're frustrated with the immigration service, I get it, I totally get it. We deal with those clowns, those bozos, those fools every single day so I share your frustration.

I wish we had an administration that put immigration at the top of its list. I wish we had the technology necessary to make the agency a modern thriving agency. I wish we had attitude at that agency to make things better, but until that time you can't give up. You got to keep fighting. You got to keep strapping. You got to keep clawing. You got to keep biting. You can't give up. Do not give up.

The purpose of this message today is to tell you to keep on fighting, keep on going, don't give up, keep going. If you feel like you're getting frustrated, if you feel like the fates are against you, do not give up. That is what they want. That is what they've designed the system to do, to slow you, to piss you off, to make you go away in frustration. Don't do it. Don't give in, keep fighting. You got this, you're going to get it. If you don't win your case, you're going to file it again. You're going to appeal. You're going to do whatever you need to do to stay in this country.

I'm very lucky, I was born here. I've been given every advantage in the world and I've tried to take my talents and my gifts and share them with you, the immigrant community, to try to make America the dream that our founding parents said that it would be, that this would be a place where all people were created equally. We're going to do everything we can to keep you here, to keep you safe, and to do whatever we can in our little corner of the world to try to make your immigration journey just a little bit better.

Don't give up, don't give up the fight. Do not give into those suckers, that's what they want. Do not do it. I love you. We pray for you. We keep you together. You know, if we've helped you in any kind of way just let us know, if you need any kind of help just let us know. Otherwise, I wish you all the best. Have a great weekend. Peace out. Be kind to somebody and we'll see you next week.
