Green Card is Being Produced

Spread the love

Card is being produced. Hi, I'm Jim Hacking, immigration lawyer practicing law throughout the United States out of our offices in St. Louis, Missouri, San Diego, California, and Washington DC. Card is being produced. These are the magic words for anyone hoping to get a green card. Whether it's based on employment, based on asylum, based on marriage to US citizen or some of their family relationship. Card is being produced are the magic words. So I have clients, many of them, most of them, almost all of them, who live and die on the electronic alerts that they receive from USCIS. Now I tell most clients don't bang your head against the wall, don't spend too much time click, click, click, clickidy mcclick on the USCIS website, trying to get updates, especially after their green card interview. And they will see lots of different messages will come in and all at the end. And it'll say your I-130 has been reopened, or your interview has been completed or more evidence is needed, or there's all kinds of things that might show up on that online portal. But the one that's the most important is card is being produced.

And the reason for that is if it says card is being produced, that means your green card case has been approved. And if it doesn't say card is being produced, that means your green card case has not yet been approved. That's the most important thing. Those four words, card is being produced most likely means you'll be getting your green card in about a week or even less. Usually when we get those online alerts, the paper copy comes very shortly thereafter, the green card comes the next day. So as long as your address is correct and you get that card is being produced notice that means your green card is on its way. Celebrate, rejoice, be happy. Leave your attorney alone. Just kidding. No, we're really happy when clients get their notice that says card is being produced because it means that we've done our job correctly. You've done your job correctly. We have satisfied the United States federal government, that your relationship is real or that you're eligible and worthy of lawful permanent residence in the United States. So card is being produced is what you want to see.

If you have questions about that, if you're wondering why doesn't my screen say card is being produced, it probably means something's wrong or it might just mean your case has been delayed. But if you have questions, if you need help to see those four holy words, card is being produced. Give us a call 314-961-8200. Emails us at [email protected].
